Sensara is a promising new female mc/vocalist. She’s a singer, MC, songwriter, entertainer and dancer extraordinary with a beautiful appearance. Music is definitely her greatest passion and with her strong sense of timing and her flexibility to improvise on different kinds of music, she knows how to make every audience go wild! Her unique sound is a mixture of house, soul & funk.

Sensara was born in The Netherlands and has dutch and moluccan roots. Both her parents were musicians: her father was a bass guitarist and her mother a singer. As a young girl Sensara sang in her father’s band and performed at special events at her school. Later on she became the lead singer of Stageline, touring throughout Europe.

With Stageline she had a great time entertaining the audience. Besides that she gained a lot of experience as a singer/entertainer. But then doubts raised, since she was to busy with her study. So she left the band focusing on her Media & Entertainment Management study.

During her study there was something missing. She needed to express her feelings and led all the energy out, so she started as a (gogo) dancer in clubs. Within a few months she became very successful and she danced in famous dutch clubs (The Powerzone, The Matrixx) and events like Mysteryland & Pleasure Island - to name a few.

She fell in love with house music immediately and from that moment on she knew her heart belonged to the groovy house sound. The uplifting beats, the great vibes coming from the audience, she was completely moved by it. But there was still something missing: her biggest passion: singing! She found a way to combine her singing and entertaining skills as a MC and the ‘dutch house diva was born’.    

She started mc’ing and soon the booking requests came inn. Nowadays Sensara has an impressive history of gigs with international famous dj’s like: Jean, Fedde Le Grand , Roog , Don Diablo , Eric van Kleef , Sydney Samson, Erick-E, Lucien Foort , Benny Rodriques, Laid back Luke and many, many more. She also performed a live act with Maxi Jazz (Faithless).

Performing on stage is not her only passion, Sensara is also well-experienced in the studio. She recorded different projects and developed her writing skills. With her beautiful, powerful voice and catchy lyrics she can spice up any track!
