SHE looks like Amy Winehouse, staggers around on stage and even swears like Amy Winehouse. And she sings like her.

She's even had a brush with the law, like Amy Winehouse.

 Meet Britain's number one Amy Winehouse tribute act Laura Miles, who gets around 15 gigs a month as the oddly named My Winehouse.

 It all started when Laura, who had another tribute act as Cher, old enough to be her mum, was told how much she looked like the troubled singer.

 "When I started she'd only had two hits. I was hoping there would be more to Do a good show," says Laura.

 "Then her album went to number one and it all came good."

 All the publicity about the troubled songstress and her jailed hubby hasn't hurt either.

 "My Winehouse is just terrific. Her look-alike quality and slightly spaced out, expressionless face said it all," enthused The Stage newspaper.

 "She looks the spitting image of Amy Winehouse and seems a much nicer person," says her agent Johnny Peller of Peller Artistes.

 Laura now gets twice as many bookings as Amy as she does for Cher - her act for her is called Turn Back Time - and very few as herself.
She says a little wistfully: "Laura's been put to bed. Now it's Amy or Cher."

 Nor does she have a problem chosing whom she likes to be.

"I'd rather be 27 than 63," says Laura, who is 37.

 Laura is Jewish just like Amy and from the same part of London although she admits to being a size 12 compared to the petite singer.

After singing in the working men's clubs she has adopted the north and now lives in Deepcar.

 Laura turns into Amy with the aid of a wig and her own long dark hair which she beehives up. The tattoos are fake - seven stick on transfers.

She did her first big gig in front of 40,000 Scouts last year for their centenary jamboree at Highlands Park in Essex. She does a little bit of swearing although not as much as her tribute. And if she sometimes can't remember the lyrics then so does Amy.
